FAST, as a partner of Remontowa Shipbuilding, has just started works on two passenger-vehicle ferries B 616/1 Töll i B 616/2 Piret, built for Estonian owner TS Laevad OU. Technical specification of both vehicles: the overall length 114 m, vehicle deck length – 107 m, passenger vehicles payload - 150, passenger places – 700, number of seats – over 500, operational speed – 10 knots, maximum speed – 15 knots. FAST’s scope of work includes insulation, comprehensive interiors outfitting of both vessels, and surface protection of Piret’s hull. The scope of “turn-key” outfitting works contains crew cabins, mess, public spaces and the galley. Completion of works is planned in August 2016.
